TOUR MANAGER (Tour & Travel)
The Tour Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, execution, and oversight of travel operations. This role covers the responsibilities of a Tour Planner, Tour Coordinator, Tour Leader, Ticketing Officer, Hotel & Transport Booking Staff, and Visa & Travel Document Staff. Key Responsibilities : 1. Tour Planning & Coordination • Design domestic and international travel itineraries. • Conduct destination research and identify attractions based on market demand. • Prepare budgets and determine tour package pricing. • Coordinate with local and international vendors (guides, local agents, etc.). • Organize efficient and attractive travel schedules. 2. Tour Leading • Accompany tour groups during trips as the Tour Leader. • Serve as a liaison between participants and third parties (hotels, drivers, local guides). • Handle participants' needs and resolve issues during trips. • Ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all travelers. 3. Ticketing & Booking • Handle reservations and ticket issuance for flights, trains, and other transportation. • Manage reservation systems and ensure accurate passenger data. • Secure and confirm accommodation and land transportation bookings. 4. Visa & Travel Documentation • Prepare and process travelers’ documentation (visa, passport, insurance, etc.). • Provide guidance on visa requirements based on destination countries. • Liaise with embassies or visa agents when needed. Job Requirements : Qualifications: • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Management. • At least 2–3 years of experience in a travel agency or tour operations. • Certified Tour Leader is preferred. Technical Skills : • Proficient in ticketing systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, or other GDS). • Skilled in itinerary planning and tour package pricing. • Knowledge of visa application processes and travel documentation. • Proficient in MS Office and other digital tools. Other Skills : • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong negotiation and vendor relationship skills. • Leadership qualities, resilience, and ability to work under pressure. • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional foreign language skills are a plus.
