Quantity Surveyor
About the role SOP Hub is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our project team for maintenance and repair projects. In this role, you will not only handle cost estimation and quantity calculations but also oversee project administration and coordination. You will be responsible for ensuring that all technical data and project documentation are accurately maintained to support seamless project execution. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 1 to 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Administrator in construction/maintenance projects. Able to read and interpret technical drawings and perform field quantity take-offs for maintenance works. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost tracking and administrative reporting. Strong organizational skills with experience in managing work orders and project documentation. Detail-oriented and able to coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors regarding site access and work permits. Job Responsibilities Manage and organize all project documentation, including Work Orders and administrative archives, to ensure systematic tracking of maintenance activities. Prepare quantity take-offs and volume measurements based on technical drawings or actual site findings for repair and maintenance works. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BQ) and cost estimations for routine maintenance and minor project requirements. Evaluate contractor quotations and verify that billing claims (termin) align with actual physical progress on-site before processing invoices. Prepare periodic cost reports and project progress updates to ensure accurate budget control and data maintenance. Coordinate work permit applications and manage administrative access for personnel and materials in accordance with site security protocols.
