Primary Quranic Teacher (Academic Year 2026/2027)
Mutiara Harapan Islamic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Quranic Teacher to inspire young learners in their Quranic journey while nurturing strong Islamic values and character. Key Responsibilities Teach Qur'an recitation (tilawah) with proper tajwid. Guide students in Qur'an memorization (hifz) and revision. Foster students' understanding and love of the Qur'an through engaging lessons. Monitor and assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback. Create a positive, nurturing, and Islamic learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' spiritual and academic growth. Participate in school activities, events, and professional development programs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Islamic Education, Qur'anic Studies, or a related field. Strong knowledge of Qur'an recitation, tajwid, and memorization methodologies. Experience teaching Qur'an to primary-aged students is preferred. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Passion for nurturing students' Islamic character and spiritual development. Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written) is an advantage. Professional, collaborative, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning.
