Some of your duties will include:
· To manage and oversee port operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of vessels and cargo, as well as the proper maintenance of port equipment and infrastructure.
· To develop and implement procedures and protocols that enhance the safety, efficiency, and compliance of port operations, while fostering collaboration with key stakeholders and promoting continuous improvement through strategic planning and the adoption of new technologies.
· Manage and oversee port operations, including vessel and cargo handling, terminal operations, and maintenance of port equipment and infrastructure
· Develop and implement procedures and protocols to ensure safe and efficient port operations
· Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
· Coordinate with shipping companies, port operators, and government agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote efficient and effective use of the port
· Provide technical expertise and support to port operations staff, including training, guidance, and troubleshooting
· Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including shipping companies, port operators, and government agencies
· Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans for port operations, including infrastructure improvements, equipment upgrades, and process optimization
· Identify and evaluate new technologies and innovations that can enhance port operations and improve efficiency and productivity
· Prepare reports and presentations to communicate key performance metrics, operational issues, and improvement initiatives to management and stakeholders
· Other duties as assigned
Working Location : Site Based - West Sumbawa
Working Schedule : Regular working days 5:2 / Roster 4 weeks on : 2 weeks off

What skills and experience do you need?
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Marine, or related discipline).
· Minimum 5–7 years of experience in port operations, logistics, terminal operations, or related fields. At least 4 years of hands-on experience specifically in an Engineer Port & Logistics or equivalent role; Experience in mining, bulk commodities, or heavy industrial port operations is strongly preferred.
· Strong understanding of port operations, bulk material handling, vessel operations, and terminal logistics; Knowledge of port infrastructure, equipment systems, and maintenance coordination; Familiarity with port regulations, maritime compliance, and HSE requirements; Ability to analyse operational data and translate it into actionable improvements.
· Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills; Analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset; Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment; High commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
· Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate; Proficiency in MS Office and relevant port/logistics systems; exposure to ERP or port management systems is an advantage; Good in reporting skills, including technical presentations.
