· Perform assigned tasks using hand/power tools, test equipment, calibrators and measurement meters related to normal electrical and instrumentation maintenance
· Perform assigned tasks following written instructions and basic drawings
· Perform assigned tasks to specified calibrations and programming parameters
· Perform basic rebuilds of electrical switchgear/motors and instrumentation devices
· Maintain a safe and neat work area and report defects, incidents and unsafe conditions.
· Coach others to undertake the tasks of the Fixed Plant Electrician - Port and perform as the supervisor
· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fixed plant electrical systems, including crushers, conveyors, mills, pumps, and control systems.
· Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits, motors, switchgear, and instrumentation.
· Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems as required.
· Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, electrical standards, and environmental regulations.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs using CMMS (e.g., SAP, Pronto).
· Collaborate with mechanical and instrumentation teams to support plant reliability and uptime.
· Participate in shutdowns, project work, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Conduct risk assessments and job safety analyses before commencing work.
· Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.

· Senior High School or equivalent or higher.
· Minimum 4 years experience with electrical/ instrumentation maintenance or construction of large equipment.
· Experience with high voltage up to 11K electricity.
· Knowledge of basic DCS programming and ladder logic training for PLC analysis.
· Ability to read and interpret diagrams and electrical schematics.
· Basic written and spoken English language competency
