Yayasan Ashhabul Fitrah Indonesia is seeking passionate Muslim teachers to join our growing institution, Fitrah Islamic World Academy (FIWA) — an international Islamic school offering Junior and Senior High School education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Economics lessons aligned with the Cambridge and National Curriculum standards.
2. Design learning experiences that connect economic theory to real-world applications, fostering critical and analytical thinking.
3. Mentor and guide students in entrepreneurship projects such as Market Day, encouraging creativity, business ethics, and leadership.
4. Prepare students for university entrance exams (UTBK, TKA, SNBT) through targeted instruction in economic concepts, data interpretation, and problem-solving.
5. Integrate Islamic values into economic and business discussions, promoting integrity and social responsibility in financial literacy.
6. Use technology, simulations, and case studies to enhance understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and business environments.
7. Continuously assess student performance and provide constructive feedback for academic improvement.
8. Maintain an engaging and disciplined classroom atmosphere that reflects the school’s vision and values.
9. Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous growth of the academic team.
Qualifications:
1. Male/Female (Muslim/Muslimah)
3. Non-smoker, in excellent physical and mental health
4. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Education, Mathematics, or a related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.00 (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
5. Fluent in English, both spoken and written, for teaching purposes
6. Experience with the Cambridge curriculum or UTBK–SNBT is preferred
7. Demonstrates a passion for teaching and contributing to students’ development, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
8. Has a good personality, high social awareness, and a strong spirit of collaboration
9. Proactive in utilizing technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes
10. Committed to continuous personal and professional development with a growth-oriented mindset
11. Able to manage classroom dynamics effectively and create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
